OLN supports Quality in eLearning

The Ohio Learning Network is committed to support and work with institutions in Ohio that strive to offer the best possible eLearning opportunities to their students.

Guiding OLN's effort was the Task Force on Quality in Distance Learning. This Task Force was created with the following goals for quality in distance learning: 1) identify challenges; 2) devise solutions; 3) make actionable recommendation to OLN member institutions. As a result of the report, many new OLN initiatives have been created, most notably:

• Best Practices for Student Services: provides guidelines for types of student service information distance-learning students need.
• CourseCheck: a self-study tool to support faculty and course designers as they create and offer highly engaging courses for distance students.
